Female Sexual Medicine of Long Island, P.C. was founded by Dr. Johanna C. Figueroa, M.D. and Dr. Lauradonna D'Antoni, DPT to help women recognize that they are not alone when suffering from sexual issues.

 

At Female Sexual Medicine, we understand that many female sexual issues are not thoroughly addressed by other health care providers. Some women are afraid or embarrassed to address these issues with their practitioner or significant other, and when they do bring them up, women's sexual issues are often ignored. Symptoms are often discounted and thought to be psychological in nature, or post menopausal in the appropriate age group. There are many treatments available when a woman is appropriately diagnosed by an expert who practices female sexual medicine.  Female Sexual Medicine of Long Island, P.C. is here to help and provide individualized care for each patient.
